College Conferences: Internal & External

Internal Conferences

BentleyMUN believes in "learning through doing".  As a result, instead of lecturing on how MUN is done, we host educational simulations where strict procedure is thrown aside in favor of demonstrating what MUN is all about.  Each semester, we host "Internal Training Conferences" on various topics to teach Model UN procedure to our newer delegates (and satisfy the thirst for debate in our veteran delegates).

Previously, we structured Internal Conferences to be a single-day event once or twice a year.  We have changed this structure to provide more exposure so that each session is limited to 1-2 hours over the course of 2-4 sessions, throughout a few week period during our MUN-Day Meetings.

The primary focusing is on continuing to train new delegates in preparation for next semester's participation in the Harvard National Conference, as well as in hosting our Middle School and High School conferences in March.

Internal Conference times, locations, and topics vary, check out the "Internal Conferences" tab on the left for more details!

External Conferences

BentleyMUN participates in a series of "External College Conferences" at locations both in Boston and abroad.  In recent years, we have attended conferences hosted by Harvard, UCLA, Georgetown, McGill, and Boston University.
